BATTLE FOR THE SOUL: 

The battle has always been for the soul of man. Our soul, which is often considered our heart, comprises our mind, will and emotions. The interesting thing is that we have a brain within our brain,  our mind  has two minds, (subconscious mind and conscious mind) . Our mind has a set of cognitive faculties including consciousness, imaginations, perceptions, thinking, judgment, language & memory.

Our mind (heart) is more powerful than our brain because it is the faculty of thoughts “for as a man thinks in his heart, so is he” Proverbs 23:7. 

The Mind:  Is the consciousness, it is what we used to react, think. Our mind is consistently active and makes us aware of what is going on around us. Due to the fact that the mind is wired to always be active and aware (praise GOD), it is the gate-keeper of your subconscious mind due to the fact that it is reactive.

The Heart: The heart is your subconscious mind, whenever you read a bible verse that speaks of the heart it is referring to the subconscious of your mind. The subconscious mind is the storage house for your experiences, convection, desire, beliefs, hope, fears, and resolutions. The subconscious mind is reflective, it thinks and ponders.

The problem with both minds is that they don't always agree when they should. Your mind can say do it, and your heart says think about it. The subconscious mind regulates your conscious mind (this is why you are what you think about), whatever you allow in your conscious mind, if it enters your subconscious mind you will begin to see the manifestation of that thought in your life.

Every thought that enters your mind is a seed sown. In your heart is where life decisions are made, the subconscious mind gives the conscious mind the raw materials to function from seeds that were planted from birth up to your current age/stage in life.

The next part of our Soul is our will. The will is the decision part of our soul. It allows us to choose, and decide what we will or will not. Our will is constantly used daily, it is the most powerful thing GOD gave us. It is so powerful that GOD himself does not control it. This is why it is considered witchcraft when people manipulate or try to control your will.

God gave us a will so that we could choose. God does not want to control us. Because we have a will we can use that very same (will) against GOD and His WILL for our life. The purpose for our will is to yield it to GOD and fulfill His will. 

Lastly we have our emotions controlled by our limbic system. Within the limbic system you have Amygdala that is responsible for emotions. Emotions are a natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one's circumstances, mood, or relationships with others. It is the state of feelings. Emotions are your mental reaction.

Due to the complexity of the mind, no man can truly understand the functionality of the mind fully, not even us. The bible tells us

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17: 9

Our heart cannot be trusted because we can deceive ourselves, others can deceive us, and most importantly the devil can deceive us. Let's take a look at what God's original plan was.

GOD original Concept

“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. “ Genesis 1:27

The word “image” refers to the non-material aspects of a person. Moral sensibilities, intellectual abilities, will and emotions. The image GOD created man in is the “SOUL”. The soul is again the mind (subconscious and conscious), emotions, and will. 

Purpose: The purpose of the soul is for godly rulerships on earth and over its resources. It is our physical, mental, spiritual abilities that enable us to fulfill the purpose of GOD on earth. As humans we are made of Spirit, soul and body and all three must be in divine alignment in order for us to properly function in the way GOD intended.

God gave us dominion mandate, it is stated in genesis 1:28

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

To carry out this godly dominion mandate, God's original plan was to get information to our spirit, our spirit man was to pass that down to our soul, and our soul passes the information down to our body. The problem with this is that we spent our entire life living in the soulish realm that it's hard for our spirit man to take the driver seat. Our soul is filled with trauma wounds that keeps us in bondage.

If God can get the soul of a person, God can rule through that person on earth. His kingdom can be established because everything that person does will be directed by the Holy Spirit of GOD.The same is true with the devil, if he can get the soul of a person, he can rule on earth and bring chaos and destruction. This is why there is so much evil in the world, many people have yielded their souls to the devil.

The battle of this life is for your soul, not your house, car, job etc but your SOUL. You are that valuable

The devil agenda:

The devil is after the soul of the children of God, he wants your soul to be dark and evil. With a damaged demonic soul you cannot fulfill the purpose of GOD. Because God's original plan is to rule on earth through you, this cancels out the devil, therefore to prevent it from happening he has to destroy your soul and bring you into his kingdom. This war has been going on since the beginning of time, you and I are just waking up to the truth, brace yourself it gets deeper.

How does the devil try to get the soul of man ?

Your adversity has been working and damaging your soul since birth , yes he started before you were even born.The trauma, hardships, heartbreak, and painful things you endure during your childhood was not the will of GOD for you but the Devil. In order to get your soul, the enemy needs to wound you first, it is through the trauma that evil spirits (demons) enter your soul and influence your life.

The devil can get your soul through:

• Trauma
• Sin
• Transfer of Spirit
• Demonic Soul Ties
• Generational Curses
• Occult/evil Covenants/ witchcraft

The trauma is the very first seed that the enemy plants to destroy you.

To fulfill the will of God and live a harmonious life our soul has to be cleansed, heal, and restored back to the way GOD created it. This process is one of the hardest but most fulfilling things you will ever have to do but it is worth it. We cannot fulfill our GOD ordain purpose with a broken soul, brokenness causes our soul to be tinted and we get out of the will of soul.
